Army Beats Navy
On Saturday, The Army Black Knights defeated Navy Midshipmen 15-0. It was the first time in Army-Navy game history that Army won at home. It was a 3-0 score throughout the first three quarters. The Army defense led by Amadeo West stopped the Navy's attempt on 4th down at the goal line. The Black Knights scored 12 points in the 4th quarter, led by Army QB Tyhier Tyler's 4-yard run to make it 10-0. He racked up 26 carries with 96 rushing yards. Daryan McDonald tackled Navy Wide receiver Mark Walker in the end zone for a safety, and Quinn Maretzki added a 40-yard field goal. Army records their 53rd victory against the Navy. They won four of the last five meetings.
The Army will challenge Air Force next week (December 19, 2020) for the Commander-in-Chief Trophy. The Air Force defeated the Navy on October 3, 2020, with a 40-7 win.
