Artis-Payne led Renegades to First Win
Dallas Renegades defeated the Los Angeles Wildcats 25-18 in an epic finish in the fourth quarter. The first three quarters resulted in three field goals but it was more of a high school level of play. Turnovers and miscues were preventing each team an advantage to take control of the game. However, the fourth quarter received the spark as DAL's Artis-Payne rushed for two touchdowns in the victory. Artis-Payne rushed for 99 yards in 14 attempts with his longest run was 21 yards for a touchdown.
Renegades: L. Jones started for the first time as QB. He had a slow start but finished well with 28-of-40 completions, 305 passing yards, one touchdown pass, but threw two interceptions. Parham was targeted 11 times and caught 5 passes for 76 yards and one touchdown.
Wildcats: The offense seemed not to be synced at times. Johnson completed 53% of the passes. His targets to his WRs were spread diversely but it was a combination of inconsistent accuracy and WRs not able to catch the balls when they had it touched on their hands. Johnson threw two touchdown passes but was sacked at the end, preventing him from making a comeback win.
Week 3 Dallas Renegades (1-1) travel to Seattle Dragons (1-1); LA Wildcats (0-2) will host DC Defenders (2-0).
