Bob Armstrong passes away at age 80
Hall of Famer (2011) Bob Armstrong passed away on August 27, 2020. Armstrong was famously known "The Bullet." He wore a mask to disguise his damaged face from an accident. After he completed multiple surgeries to repair his face, he would eventually remove his mask and continue his pro-wrestling career.
Armstrong had four sons - Joseph (Scott Armstrong), Brad, Steve and Brian (WWE Hall of Famer "Road Dogg" Jesse James). They all followed their father's footsteps.
On South Sports/Georgia Championship Wrestling, he was a eight-time world champion, 16-time tag team champion and television champion. He wrestled six independent wrestling programs and inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class 2011.
The HHWShow Podcast, Clovercrest Media, and the wrestling community extends its condolences to the family, friends, and fans.
Heartbroken by the passing of Bullet Bob Armstrong. He crushed his Hall of Fame speech the night this picture was taken. Never seen a father more proud of his sons & sons more proud of their father...ever! #RIPBulletBob What an honor it is to have known you. 🙏 pic.twitter.com/8O7oqeMgG8— Sean Waltman (@TheRealXPac) August 28, 2020
