Charlotte Flair bit off more than she can chew.
Charlotte Flair lost her composure when things escalated with Rhea Ripley and Nikki Cross during "Miz TV." Cross convinced Charlotte for a match that if she wins, she challenges the winner from Hell in a Cell. Charlotte, who believes she is better everyone smirked. As a result, Cross slapped her across her face, and so it began, the beat-the-clock challenge.
Charlotte laughed at Ripley for not defeating Cross within two minutes last week. This week, the Queen could not get her victory as Cross clinches her way to challenge the winner of the Raw Women's Championship from Hell in a Cell.
There is an idiom that states, "Bite off more than you can chew." This means that a person tried to do something too complex for that person. For Charlotte Flair, placing a two-minute timer to defeat Cross was challenging. Cross played cat and mouse game (a Tom & Jerry Looney Tunes action). Maybe, if Charlotte would get over herself, she would have assessed the situation and concentrate on her goal to become Raw Women's Champion.
