Cody Rhodes and Bayley win the royal rumble. What is next?

The 2024 RoyalRumble is now in the books. The road to WrestleMania has begun. There is plenty to talk about who will be in the main event, which superstars will best matchup, and which obstacles each superstar will endure from the elimination chamber to WrestleMania 40.

Cody Rhodes is a two-time Intercontinental Champion, a seven-time world tag team champion, and the fourth superstar to accomplish this achievement - a back-to-back Royal Rumble winner (2023, 2024). Cody Rhodes can "finish the story" with Roman Reigns by challenging him for the second time for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40. Going after the Tribal Chief will allow the focus on CM Punk to continue his journey to capture a different gold, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Seth Rollins looked on during the Royal Rumble match and applauded the success of each superstar who partook in the event. Rollins may look on again as another premium event will be scheduled in Australia.  

The Elimination Chamber will be held in Perth, Western Australia. It will be the first show in Australia since 2018 when WWE had the Super Show-Down, that main event match between Triple H and The Undertaker.

CM Punk may find himself in a number one contender's match for the World Heavyweight Championship inside the Elimination Chamber. Other superstars that might join the match should be - Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest, Sami Zayn, Ricochet, and The Miz.

Gunther may find himself defending the Intercontinental Championship against a number one contender that will be established during Monday Night Raw segments.

*Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits versus the Final Testament faction - Karrion Kross and Authors of Pain.

In the women's division, Liv Morgan, Nia Jax, Jade Cargill, Ivy Nile, Naomi, and Becky Lynch will be involved in a Women's Elimination Chamber match.
