This week, there have been crazy headlines surrounding the structure of college football. From the NIL law being passed, the start of the season being back to normal from the pandemic, and now the potential moves of Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns to the SEC. The college transfer portal has been an all time high this off season. Among hundreds of transfers, here are the top ten players that we all need to focus on that can potentially be on the top NFL draft radar:

  1. Henry To'o To'o - According to 247 Sports, he is a very athletic linebacker who can play inside and outside. He is able to handle pass coverage and put pressure on Quarterbacks. Henry started with Tennessee and had a total conference record of 8 wins and 10 losses. With the new staff and change of direction, Henry transferred to Alabama where he is expected to be the starter as an outside linebacker.

  2. Eric Gray - Eric is another prospect from Tennessee who transferred to Oklahoma. A transfer JR, he can play this season. However, he is currently a backup to Redshirt Junior Kennedy Brooks.

  3. Arik Gilbert - Gilbert is a star wide receiver from Marrieta, Georgia. He is 6'5 and weighs 248 pounds. He can be a clear target for JT Daniels. :He's our highest graded player in the country regardless of position," SEC Director of Player Personnel. Could he be a key factor in the opening game versus Clemson? Gilbert is a transfer from LSU.

  4. Demarkcus Bowman - Bowman is a transfer from Clemson who preferred to be closer to home. He is a Lakeland resident and will battle for the position at Running Back. Seniors Damian Pierce and Malik Davis are set to take the snaps. With a huge depth at RB, it will not be certain to see him run the ball unless he is on special teams.

  5. Wan'Dale Robinson - He is a star Wide Receiver from Frankfort, Kentucky. Robinson is a transfer from Nebraska and moved closer to home. Robinson is named starter in a pro-style offense led by head coach Mark Stoops.

  6. Mike Jones, Jr. - He is the son of former Super Bowl 34 winner linebacker from the St Louis Rams, Mike Jones. The son transferred from Clemson and will join the LSU Tigers. He is compared to Isaiah Simmons. However, Jones is looking for more playing time and a way to play his game. LSU is his golden ticket.

  7. Wayna Morris - He is another former Tennessee transfer to Oklahoma. He joins Eric Gray. The Offensive Lineman is expected to start and hold ground for Spencer Rattler and clear paths for Brooks or Gray.

  8. Tyrique Stevenson - Stevenson leaves Georgia and is all onboard with the Miami Hurricanes. He wanted playing time which is something he would not have received in Georgia. Stevenson is named the starting CB. Jalen Kimber, a redshirt Freshman, beat out Stevenson in Georgia.

  9. Doung Nester - Nester left Virginia Tech to join West Virginia. He is from Huntington, WV so playing at his home state is a good thing for him. Nester is listed to be a starter as a right tackle.
