Dan Maff - NEW Heavyweight Champion

Northeast Wrestling (NEW), an independent professional wrestling promotion featured another epic night.  This time, NEW returned to Danbury, Connecticut for Spring Slam 2022.  It featured the farewell tour of the Hardy Boyz, Killer Kross, and Scarlett Bordeaux.  The main NEW match was heavyweight champion Dan Maff versus Mr. Northeast Wrestling, Brian Anthony.  Here are the results:

The Tag Team Champions Waves & Curls defeated the Brick City Boyz

Randy Shawn defeated "Mucho" Chris Moljo

"The Lost Soul" Keith Youngblood had a short outing as he laid Victorious BRG to rest.

JT Dunn became "the new" Northeast Wrestling Live Champion, winning the fatal-5-way match.  Dunn took advantage of the situation where the referee watched Wrecking Ball dive outside the ring on Channing Thomas and Chris Battle.  While the referee confirmed everyone was ok, he did not see Dunn kick Collins' private parts.  Dunn executive his signature move and pinned Collins for the win.

NOTE: Personally, I knew the title was going to change.  I made the wrong choice in Channing Thomas.  Overall, JT Dunn is the deserving superstar to win the title.

Killer Kross knocked out Richard Holliday.

Scarlett Bordeaux defeated Tina San Antonio

NEW Heavyweight Champion Dan Maff retained the title by defeating "Mr. Northeast Wrestling" Brian Anthony.  Maff went on the attack from the very start.  He slapped and punched Anthony around the inside and out of the ring.  It was the notorious open hand slap to the chest by Maff that had the crowd screaming and chanting for more.  Midway during the match, Anthony's manager, Vito, attempted to interfere outside the ring.  Maff tried to give chase but Anthony attacked him from behind, pushing to the ring post.  It was then that Maff bled heavily around the head.  Eventually, Maff overcame the obstacles and ended Anthony's chance to become champion again.

Other matches without photos were:

Malakai Black defeated Jay Lethal

The Hardy Boyz defeated John Morrison and Flip Gordon.
