Former MMA Commentator makes WWE Debut
Jimmy Smith began his debut on Monday Night Raw with Corey Graves and Byron Saxton. Smith assume duties in replacement on Adnan Virk's departure after just seven weeks on the job. Many fans, especially in social media, wrote positive comments on Smith's first day on Raw.
Smith is a former mixed martial arts commentator and a former mixed martial arts fighter. He was the co-host of the television show Fight Quest, commentator for Bellator, UFC, and Premier Boxing Champions. Smith hosted the American Ninja Warrior in 2010-2011. In his personal life, Smith has a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His record in MMA was 5 wins and 1 loss.
Memorial Day 2021 marks his debut as play-by-play caller commentator and it seems as Vince McMahon and the rest of the staff are pleased with his presence.
