He is the Chosen One

03/27/2020

In the last 24 hours, all of social media and sports channels revealed that Roman Reigns is stepping away from WrestleMania. Due to his previous health and concerns of the coronavirus pandemic, Reigns will not partake in this year's WrestleMania. Who will be next for Goldberg?

The person that comes to mind is Braun Strowman. But why him? Why should he be the chosen one?

Braun Strowman is the "Monster Among Men." He is a two-time tag team champion, a former Intercontinental Champion, and has won the 2018 Greatest Royal Rumble, 2018 Money in the Bank, and the 2019 Andre the Giants Memorial battle Royal. The only other superstars that come close to a qualified match with Goldberg is either Cesaro or Baron Corbin. However, Cesaro is teamed up with Sami Zayne and Shinsuke Nakamura. Baron Corbin has a scheduled match with Elias. So, who's next?

The WWE has done wonders on Bruan's gimmick in Smackdown. Pro Wrestling Illustrated ranked Stowman number six out of 500 superstars in 2018. He is currently ranked 27 but is still the best big man performer around the world.

Although rumors from Dave Meltzter from Wrestling Observer are suggesting Strowman to be the guy, the decision will be best for Smackdown, WWE, and the Universe.

Who do you have in mind as the next contender for Goldberg and the Universal Championship?
