Hell in a Cell Preview 2021

Hell in a Cell takes place Sunday, June 20, at Tampa, Florida, in Yuengling Center. The event will be the last PPV as WWE begins its travels around the nation. On WWE Smackdown, a prelude to Hell in a Cell happened when Roman Reigns successfully defended his Universal title over Rey Mysterio inside the cell. Two scheduled cell matches will occur along with four singles competitions. Here are the following match cards and predictions:

WWE Champion Bobby Lashley vs Drew McIntyre

Once again, Lashley and McIntyre will clash for the one final time. Drew accepted the stipulation that he would no longer chase the WWE Championship if he were to lose the match as long as Lashley is champion. In the last five meetings, Drew has not been able to defeat The Almighty single-handedly. The WWE Champion solidified himself by defeating The Scottish Warrior at WrestleMania 37, Night 1. Lashley pinned Drew a month later on Raw. He successfully retained the title by defeating Drew again and Braun Strowman in a triple threat match at WrestleMania Backlash.

Lashley and McIntyre will go head-to-head inside the Hell in a Cell. Drew promises he will Claymore and send Lashley to Hell. However, Lashley claimed they would be already in Hell. So who will win at #HIAC?

Prediction: Bobby Lashley retains title

Raw Women's Champion Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair

Flair did not compete at Wrestlemania. However, due to health concerns and other factors, Flair returned and demanded to be in front of the line. Her influence placed her to challenge Ripley for the title. Flair has had many successes during the HIAC PPV. Unfortunately, she will not compete inside the cell as she has successfully done so in the past.

Ripley will be defending the title for the third time. She will go head-to-head for the second time in her career. Ripley lost to Flair at WrestleMania 36, where she lost the NXT Women's Championship. Can Ripley redeem herself and leave the PPV as champion?

Prediction: Charlotte Flair becomes the new champion.

Smackdown Women's Champion Bianca Belair vs Bayley

Belair is the EST of WWE and has proven time and time again as to why she is the champion. Belair defeated Sasha Banks at Wrestlemania. At Backlash, The EST defeated Bayley. However, Bayley was left to believe that she had to use her hair to win the match illegally. Both superstars are set for a Hell in a Cell match.

Prediction: Bayley wins

Alexa Bliss vs. Shayna Baszler

Bliss has been targeting Baszler for quite some time. Unfortunately, Baszler disrespected Bliss and the doll, Lilly. This match seems to start as a regular match but could eventually become a cinematic finish.

Prediction: Alexa Bliss wins

Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins

In the last six matches, Cesaro has been matching up against the best of Smackdown. Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, Jimmy Uso, and the Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Cesaro defeated Rollins at WrestleMania and seeks to continue that streak at Hell in a Cell.

On the other side, Rollins assaulted Cesaro numerous times and believes that he will eliminate Cesaro once and for all.

Prediction: Cesaro wins

Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn

There is something a bit odd about this match. Owens has been on the losing side in 2021. Despite winning at Wrestlemania over Sami Zayn, he lost three opportunities to capture the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Zayn believes there is still a conspiracy but loves to instigate and get into Owens' skin.

Prediction: Sami Zayn wins in an upset.
