Logan Paul returns to Raw

06/19/2023

On Monday, June 19, WWE Raw will be in Cleveland, Ohio, near Logan Paul's hometown. Paul will make another WWE debut for an opportunity to be in a match for Money in the Bank. The biggest question will be, "Who will be his opponent?"

Paul is a famous YouTube star and has proven his talents in other areas, such as boxing and wrestling. In WrestleMania 38, Paul teamed up with The Miz and won his first match against the Mysterios, but he was later laid flat out by the Miz. In Summerslam 2022, Paul got his revenge on The Miz and defeated him. However, he had two of his biggest matches on the grandest stage, Crown Jewel, losing to Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Championship and Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 39.

It would seem logical if Paul would play politics and try to gain the fans' reaction to place himself in another championship match. Being that it is Raw, he may want to have a rematch with the WWE Heavyweight Champion, Seth "Freakin" Rollins. That match may not play out unless he accepts the open challenge against Rollins. But he needs a win. How about this prediction?

  1. Paul creates a grand entrance but is interrupted by The Miz. Miz is also from Ohio, and the Ohioans can match up on Raw. If the stakes are high, it can be the 7th person to enter the MITB.
  2. Moreso about the MITB, Bronson Reed would love another opportunity to get involved and chase down Shinsuke Nakamura and Ricochet. Could Reed vs. Logan be in the works?
  3. Paul is a trendy guy, and WWE fans acknowledge him as the biggest heel in sports entertainment. An opponent has to be equivalent but a babyface to cheer for. Could Drew McIntyre come out as a surprise leading into MITB? JD McDonagh is a heel but could be a potential opponent. And there is Jinder Mahal, who can easily be a tweener and take a fall.
  4. Lastly, Edge, who celebrates 25 years in WWE can create a match of Old School vs. New School.

Something big has to happen for Logan Paul for his return to be solidified to his status. What is your take on Logan Paul? Who will be his opponent?
