RAW Preview and Predictions

04/19/2020

Seth Rollins is an entirely different person since the loss to Kevin Owens. He let his frustrations out by attacking the WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.

McIntyre defeated Andrade in a champion vs. champion match. He was distracted by Angel Garza and Austin Theory, leaving himself vulnerable from what was coming next. The Monday Night Messiah swiftly entered the ring and unleashed curb stomps on Drew.

Prediction: I do not believe there will be a fight between them. A scheduled match will be announced for Money in the Bank. Rollins will gloat about his actions while Drew may seek revenge or cut a promo requesting his presence. Either way, Rollins is after the title and will do so at whatever cost.

The Money in the Bank Qualifier Match

Rey Mysterio vs. Buddy Murphy

Aleister Black vs. Austin Theory

Apollo Crews vs. MVP

Prediction: Murphy, Black, and Crews should win their matches. If there is a hiccup, focus on the Black and Theory match. Should Theory receive assistance from either Garza or Andrade, it will force Black to somehow go after the United States title. Black defeated Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania and has won 19 of his last 20 singles matches.

The names provided for the qualifying match looks like the WWE are looking for new faces to participate in the pay per view event. This is great for the new superstars to get their push.

Bobby Lashley and Lana

It is known that Lashley is disappointed with Lana after losing to Black at WrestleMania. He came close to losing to No Way Jose. Lashley stepped out and told Lana to "Shut up." He went on to win the match, but nothing was said as they went quietly to the backstage.

Women's Division

Nia Jax, Asuka, and Shayna Baszler qualified for Money in the Bank. Becky Lynch does not fear anyone and cannot wait to know who will win the briefcase. However, Lynch does not have an opponent yet, but the Daily DDT predicts Ronda Rousey may return.

Rousey has stirred up the pot with exaggerated fans and current superstars of her comments about "fake fighting." There are signs that Rousey will return soon. Will it be on the next Monday Night RAW?

Prediction: I do not think Rousey will return. It would be a surprise and a significant boost in ratings should she return. We can see more interviews and see Nia Jax in another match.
