RAW Result and Reaction 04.27

Rey Mysterio, Aleister Black and Apollo Crews defeated Andrade, Angel Garza and Austin Theory.

MVP started the show by inviting the three RAW superstars that qualified for the MITB Ladder Match. They were interrupted by Zelina Vega and Crew, which resulted in a match. Vega believes her crew should deserve the opportunity, but Mysterio had other things in mind.

The six-man tag match was full of action and athleticism. Crews laid out Andrade with a powerbomb for the win. However, the two crossed paths again backstage that would arrange a match for the United States Championship.

Shayna Baszler vs. Asuka vs. Nia Jax

The triple threat match would have been epic. However, the brawl started before the bell rang. Baszler beat down Asuka. They exchanged fists, but it was Nia Jax that grabbed the ladder and took them out.

It would have been nice to see how Jax would measure up with Asuka and Baszler. The result makes it seem like the WWE is saving Jax for the PPV. As for Asuka and Baszler, the feud will never end. I rather see them go at it than include Becky Lynch.

Bobby Lashley defeated Denzel Dejournette.

Liv Morgan defeated Ruby Riott.

Riott had another chance to redeem herself after losing to Morgan last week. Unfortunately, she came out at the losing end again as Morgan implemented the Oblivion for the three-count.

Jinder Mahal defeated Akira Tozawa

Mahal made his return from a long absence due to injury. The Modern-Day Maharaja looked in good shape. Will he be a heel or a babyface? He would make a significant impact on RAW. Welcome back!

Andrade wins over Apollo Crews

Crews and Andrade continued to show off their athleticism with maneuvers and a static display of wrestling. Crews backflipped outside the ring and aggravated his left knee. He got to the top of the ropes to make his signature move, and he did more damage to the knee. The referee had to stop the match.

For Crews, this is not a good sign when needing to focus on the MITB. His ego got to him and now is paying the price. If Crews is not able to compete at MITB (12 days from now), I can see WWE set up a match next week in a second chance qualifier.

Andrade's performance is excellent! Yet, he does not look like a dominant champion. His number is limited and there is no opponent at this time to take the title away. I would love for a Black/Andrade match. We may have to wait after MITB PPV.

Ricochet & Cedric Alexander defeated Ever-Rise.

Although Ricochet and Alexander won their match, MVP announced that Shane Thorne and Brendan Vink had been drafted. Therefore, these two tag teams will square off next week.

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins sign the contract.

After verbal promos and attacks, Drew retaliated and shoved Rollin's face on the table. When he was about to execute the claymore, Buddy Murphy came to the rescue. Murphy and Rollins hugged it out until Drew claymore Murphy for the knockout.
