RAW Results and Reaction

MVP opens up the show with his VIP Lounge. His guests are Asuka, Shayna Baszler, and Nia Jax. It was a great promo to get ready for the MITB PPV as it resulted in Jax getting a double kick dropped by Baszler and Asuka.

Gauntlet Match

Bobby Lashley eliminated Titus O'Neil, Akira Tozawa, and Shelton Benjamin. Lashley's anger and frustration took the best out of him. It may not have to do with his in-ring performance but could be his marriage. Lashley has been vocal on Lana to stay away. Furthermore, some things are happening behind the scenes that may be developing for exposure for weeks to come. Lashley gets himself disqualified and causes damage to Humberto Carrillo.

Carrillo returns to RAW with an opportunity to his chance for MITB. He defeated Angel Garza and Austin Theory. Then, the big surprise happened. AJ Styles returned from being dead 6 feet under by The Undertaker and eliminates Carrillo to win the final spot in the MITB.

Styles has to be the favorite to win now. With the Universal and WWE Champions' babyface, it's only right for the winner to be a heel. AJ Styles is the Phenomenal One that can stir things up in RAW. More to follow on this topic at The Hard Hittin' Wrestling Show Podcast.

Shane Thorne and Brendan Vink defeated "2 Fly Crew"

Thorne and Vink lost two weeks ago against Ricochet and Cedric Alexander. Despite being underdogs, they found a way to overcome their flaws and beat Ricochet and Alexander. Vink comes out of nowhere and smashes Ricochet with a Giant Big Boot, similar to Sheamus's Brogue Kick method, and down goes Ricochet.

I will not be surprised if these two tag teams square off again for the third time next week. It was a great match.

The Viking Raiders defeated the RAW Tag Team Champions Street Profits.

I do not understand why this match was not an official tag team championship. Street Profits have never defeated the Viking Raiders, and tonight was no different. How can you call yourself a champion when you have not beaten the best. Viking Raiders should be holding the titles, but instead, Street Profits are still the champions with an asterisk.

Charlotte Flair defeated Liv Morgan.

A surprising match to see Charlotte on RAW but to have a match against Morgan brought back last year's unfinished business. Morgan left WWE to regroup and refresh herself on finding her own identity. Tonight, she stood up and gave it to her all against Charlotte. Unfortunately, Charlotte won by applying the figure eight.

Morgan does not need to feel down and out. She improved in all aspects of her in-ring performance. Morgan has the potential to be a champion, but not right now.

Drew McIntyre defeated Buddy Murphy.

The match was fair, and as expected, Drew won. However, you should never turn your back on your enemy. Rollins sneaked behind (which we thought he left for backstage) and gave Drew a piece of chin music. Drew bounced back and avoided the curb stomp. Just as he was about to execute the claymore, Rollins dodged the move and left the ring. The ending was great and a big boost for the anticipation of MITB PPV.

On Tuesday, 08:00pm EST, the Hard Hittin Wrestling Show will go live. The HHW Crew will make their predictions on MITB PPV. Join us for all the fun and action. Who will win the men and women's MITB briefcase?
