Ric Flair on his release
Former WWE Superstar and 16-time world champion Ric Flair was released a day after Bray Wyatt's departure in WWE. Flair spoke with People's magazine and explained his reasons. Maria Pasquini and Elissa Rosen from People Magazine reported that Flair wanted to pursue other business opportunities. Since the WWE and Flair did not see eye to eye on the matter, he asked for his release.
Flair made it be known that there was no animosity between him and the WWE. Most importantly, he has no issues with Vince McMahon. And why would he have any issues? Flair had become the 16-time world champion on Vince's watch. The combination of WCW and WWE made him what he has become. The Nature Boy is pleased with all his success and is very proud of his daughter, Charlotte, who is the top women superstar in the business.
Flair leaves the WWE in a mutual agreement. He is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer that continues to be "stylin', profilin', limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' and dealin' son of a gun." WOOOO!
