Roman Reigns Responds to Pull Out
WWE Superstar Roman Reigns spoke out to TMZ on why he decided to pull out of WrestleMania 36. Reigns stated that he had to make a choice for him and his family. He is a two-time cancer survivor. According to Miriam Falco, Content Managing Director of Cancer.org, cancer patients are among those at high risk of serious illness from an infection because their immune systems are often weakened by cancer and its treatment. Those that are cancer free are at higher risk of getting COVID-19 explained by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Reigns was supposed to challenge Goldberg for the WWE Universal Championship. Because he is immunocompromised from the cancer fight, his decision was best for him, his family and the business. Reigns went on Instagram and reached out to the fans..."For all my fans, I'm sorry. I didn't get to compete this year and put on a show and entertain but sometimes things are more important."
Reaction - Roman Reigns, there is no need to apologize. Anyone in your shoes would have done the same thing. Regardless of the situation, oneself, the family comes first. In order to combat COVID-19, stay home, quarantine for a few weeks and get back to the normalcy when all is clear.
