Roughnecks 28 Battlehawks 24


The XFL concluded Week 2 with Houston Roughnecks and St Louis Battlehawks in a close and exciting game. Each team wanting to remain undefeated had their work cut out for them.

Roughnecks defeated Battlehawks 28-24. The interception by Johnson stole the momentum for the Battlehawks. On the next set of possessions, Walker threw a 2 yard pass to Phillips for a touchdown, Houston 28-18.

STL Ta'amu drove the team back and led them to a touchdown shortening the lead 28-24. However, it was not enough as the defense could not get the ball back.

Pj Walker continued his success in the league. He completed 20-of-31 passes for 170 passing yards and three touchdowns. His QBR is 111. Ta'amu performed very well completing 30-of-37 passes, 284 passing yards and three touchdowns. However, he was picked two times by Houston's C. Brown and J.Johnson.

Week 3: Houston Roughnecks (2-0) travel to Tampa Bay Vipers (0-2); Stl Battlehawks (1-1) hosts NY Guardians (1-1).
