Seattle Dragon's Player Tested Positive for COVID-19

XFL News Hub, Matthew Nagashima reported today that one player from the Seattle Dragons tested positive for COVID-19. The league decided earlier this week to suspend operations due to the coronavirus outbreak and concerns for the public. The player was not identified but XFL's own Konnor Fulk verified that the story is true. Here is the statement on Twitter:

"I'm being told that a player from the @XFLDragons started feeling symptoms of the COVID-19 virus and was sent home Tuesday. He ultimately tested positive. Dragons teammates have been told it's low risk to them as there has been little contact..."

The XFL is committed to start their second season and make efforts to look out for the players' and staffs' health and well-being. The XFL ended their inauguration season with only five games in which looked promising to finish a complete season. We hope 2021 will be a better year for the XFL and all professional sports, businesses, and communities around the world.
