Smackdown full of chess matches

"To be in someone's checkmate" is metaphorically best to describe Friday's Smackdown. In the event's closing, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes stood tall before each other, promoting their edge as to who will win at WrestleMania. Reigns used mental tactics to make Rhodes suspicious of Seth Rollins as a tag team partner for WrestleMania Day One. Rhodes countered with the trust about "The Rock, " the "Final Boss." Things got interesting when Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa made their presence known. After that, Rollins and a more prominent surprise appearance of Jey Uso evened the numbers. Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso agreed to have a sibling match at WrestleMania. Well played for all parties leading for next week's Smackdown.

But another family issue in the WWE is Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio. Rey Mysterio had the momentum in the match versus Santos Escobar. However, Dominik paved the way to distract his father. Escobar won the match, but Rey's attention to defend the honor of representing LWO will have to wait. Rey and Dominik can have a father-versus-son match at WrestleMania.

Iyo Sky defeated Naomi in a singles match. Of course, it took Damage CTRL to assist in the victory. After the match, Naomi was outnumbered four-to-one until Bianca Belair came to the rescue. It is supposed to be Belair not to get involved with Bayley's issue with Damage CTRL, and it happens that she went for the rescue of her friend, Naomi. This will set up a tag team match for WrestleMania - Belair and Naomi vs. The Kabuki Warriors in a Women's Tag Team Championship match.
