Smackdown Results and Reaction 08.28

If you are staring at the picture in shock, then welcome to the club.  It is a fact, it is official.  Roman Reigns is a Paul Heyman Guy.  Therefore, as of now, there is no rivalry or hate with him or Brock Lesnar.  No matter what happens in the WWE, Roman Reigns is leading the way with the most talk-about return and comeback.

Also, Sami Zayn is back with the Intercontinental (IC) Championship.  Similar to John Cena and CM Punk storyline, we have two IC Champions.  What will happen now with all this build up.  Here are the results and reactions to Smackdown:

Jeff Hardy defeated Shinsuke Nakamura

Nakamura jumped quickly at the open challenge.  The former IC Champion did his best but Hardy was the better wrestler while injured.  Hardy hit the Twist of Fate and Swanton Bomb for the win.

After the match, Sami Zayn came out with his IC title.  Zayn claimed he never lost and that he is still the champion.  This left A.J. Styles surprised.

 Matt Riddle defeated Chad Gable

Gable tried to collect his king ransom but lost the match.  However, the real story was the post interview with King Corbin.  He and Riddle will battle this Sunday at Payback.

Bayley and Sasha Banks promo

Banks was not too happy going in the ring to cut a promo with Bayley.  At times, Bayley used poor choice of words.  On the other hand, Banks aggressively enough mention how she will get her revenge and still be tag team champion.

Braun Strowman defeated Drew Gulak

Strowman signs the triple threat match contract.

Cesaro defeated Kalisto

Big E and Heavy Machinery defeated The Miz, John Morrison, and Sheamus

Big E refused to be on Miz TV after what had happened at 'Talking Smack."  Just when Big E was outnumbered 3 to 1, the Heavy Machinery had Big E's back.  The match was set for Big E to get the victory.

Roman Reigns

At the end of Smackdown, Roman Reigns looked thoroughly over the contract for the triple threat match.  He revealed that he will win and that it was a spoiler alert.  Those famous words were by a certain advocate, a manager of the Beast Incarcerate.   And so it was - the one and only - Paul Heyman sitting next to Reigns as the camera zoomed out.  Heyman is now the advocate of Roman Reigns.
