Tamina in an Institution

06/11/2020

Tamina, a WWE Superstar, is the daughter of the late WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka.  She debuted WWE on the May 24 episode on RAW with the Usos by attacking the Unified Tag Team Champions, The Hard Dynasty.  As she stated in the video, Tamina dedicated her tenure in the industry and has found herself in an institution.  Although the video has since been taken down, there is a sign that she may return soon with a new gimmick.

Tamina was ranked number 19 in 2012 and 27 in 2013 in the Pro Wrestling Illustrated Top 50 Females.  She has never held a world title.  Can her new gimmick reach for a world title win?

Tamina has only had one singles match as she squared off in a loss to Bayley for the Smackdown Women's Championship.  She was involved in 17 fatal four ways, five-ways, and six-way matches for a championship title.  Tamina has not been placed in a top storyline for a championship.  That can explain why her place is at an institution.
