Upcoming Week Predictions in WWE Smackdown and Raw

Money in the Bank is the upcoming event and it is in a live audience. The fans' feedback will be thunderously loud in anticipation for should be a top-notch performance from all superstars. The event will happen on July 18, but some things need to be settled.

Cesaro faces off with Seth Rollins in a Money in the Bank Qualifying match. The Swiss Superman lost his match to Rollins back at Hell in a Cell. He has a chance to redeem himself and contend with seven other superstars for a chance at a world title.

However, Rollins has a plan. He is frustrated that he was not granted to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at MITB by Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville. The rivalry is real and the two superstars will clash for what could be an epic match.

Prediction: I am going out on a limb here and say Seth Rollins. It is a hard pick but it can go 50/50.

Another qualifying match is Shinsuke Nakamura and Baron Corbin. Corbin has hit a deep depression since losing his crown. While Nakamura and his sidekick Rick Boogs gloat, Corbin seems to have no energy and not focused. He has lost the crown, music, and his car. Corbin explained that he is in total debt. One has to wonder if anyone can be on his side and give him the power of positivity.

Nakamura is on a hot streak winning six of his last seven matches. He has an advantage and could work his way to his first Ladder Match.

Prediction: Shinsuke Nakamura wins and Corbin will hit rock bottom.

Liv Morgan has been doing her best to get an opportunity in the MITB Ladder Match. Sonya Deville has other plans as she allowed Carmella and Zelina Vega (in which Liv has defeated) in the MITB Ladder Match. Could Deville have another surprise entry this Friday, or will she grant Morgan an opportunity?

Prediction: No decision this Friday - I am hoping Deville procrastinates the decision at MITB PPV.

Humberto Carrillo and United States Champion Sheamus set to battle for the title. Carillo has been itching away for an opportunity while Sheamus recovered from a broken nose. Will Carrillo win the championship?

Prediction: My guess will be Humberto Carrillo. I would like to see a different angle for the United States Championship. Also, Sheamus deserves to be in a bigger spotlight.

Ricochet and John Morrison are scheduled to match up in a Falls Count Anywhere match. The two superstars have demonstrated their risk-taking maneuvers against each other. In their first meet, the contest ended in a draw. Last Monday, Morrison won by a count-out. They say that a third time is a charm. If so, it will be interesting to see what else can happen in this match.

Prediction: Ricochet gets even with Johnny Drip Drip.

AJ Styles & Omos have their singles matches against the Viking Raiders. The contest will be a warm-up for the following week as AJ Styles and Omos defend their tag team titles the day after MITB.

Prediction: It doesn't matter. I am waiting for the following week and hope the Viking Raiders win the titles.

Jinder Mahal is back wrestling again and he had a battle against Drew McIntyre. Although the contest ended in a disqualification, Mahal is angry for not being part of the MITB. A few weeks back, Jinder commented on what if a superstar gets hurt in his interview. Mahal's continuation of attack after the match on McIntyre seems to indicate that he may somehow enter the MITB. The superstar is may be vulnerable is Riddle.

Riddle further injured his ankle during his match against AJ Styles. Should Mahal put pressure on Pearce and Deville to make a decision, Mahal is the guy that can eliminate Riddle and place himself in the Ladder match.

Prediction: Mahal will either go after McIntyre or take advantage and eliminate Riddle backstage.
